How can our public spaces be improved through culture and creativity?
Over the past few months, we've seen first-hand how resilient our community is when faced with extreme challenges like floods, fires, pandemics and a slowing economy. We've also seen how important and loved our public spaces are - the streets, open spaces, parks, mountains and beaches that make up the MidCoast area.
MidCoast Council sees human connection as the backbone of resilience, and we want to make sure our public areas are welcoming social spaces that also attract economic opportunities.
For these reasons MidCoast Council wants to know how you've been using public space during these challenging times and get your ideas for improvements. Your feedback will help Council prepare a new Cultural Plan that aims to build stronger communities and support the creative and cultural life of residents, workers and visitors.
